· The food. Creating a wedding menu inspired by Christmas is far easier than you might think, even if you don’t plan on serving an actual seated dinner. For instance, gingerbread cookies will always make everyone feel like it’s Christmas, and so will chestnut, hazelnut, cranberries, cinnamon-infused foods and sweets, and so on. The key lies in incorporating some of the most Christmas-worthy ingredients into your wedding menu and twisting them into something elegant and unforgettable.
· The drinks. There are so many amazing drinks you can serve for a Christmas-like touch! Mulled wine is one of the most delicious options, and a hot cider cocktail can work like a miracle too. And if you want to serve something non-alcoholic too, nothing beats a good cup of hot chocolate with generous toppings!
· The décor. You don’t have to have a Christmas tree in the middle of the wedding venue to make it Christmas-y (although this could be a fantastic idea too!). Evergreen arrangements, pinecones used as wedding place card holders, reindeers painted in golden glitter, and even bouquets and floral arrangements created with eucalyptus and seasonal berries – these elements can make even the simplest wedding venue feel very Christmas-y.
