The Perfect Venue

We really struggled to find a venue near enough to Boulder (our home) that felt secluded and remote. We went to at least 6 different venues, each one near a main road or adjacent to a parking lot before we were ready to give up. In comes Blackstone - it is remote, but accessible. It is surrounded by woods, your guests feel like they're getting the complete CO experience without having to trek to Vail. It's expensive, but I really thought it was worth every penny. Their team was FABULOUS - the wedding ran so smoothly - they even set up a fire pit with s'mores for all of our guests! I cannot recommend this venue enough.

Blackstone was the most beautiful wedding venue !!!! From the moment we stepped on the property for the very first time, we knew it was the perfect spot for our big day. The staff were incredible and easy to communicate, and made our wedding day run so smoothly!

Blackstone was a DREAM venue. The team is incredibly professional and well organized, which in turn made it easy for us. The grounds are exceptional and so stunning, and everything about our wedding was perfect as a result. I could not be happier that we decided to host our wedding there.

Post-Covid was an interesting time to book a venue for a wedding. In the summer of 2021 we started looking for venues for the following summer, but it seemed everyplace we looked at was just about fully booked. My Wife and her Sister ventured into Blackstone Rivers Ranch after a friend had recommended they swing by. As fate would have it, they had a Saturday available the exact weekend we were hoping to get married. I can tell you first hand how lucky we were to book Blackstone Rivers Ranch for our wedding. The ambiance is perfect. It's outdoorsy with a very Colorado mountain feel while also retaining a sense of contemporary class. The weather was perfect for our ceremony but had started to rain during the reception and we barely noticed. The massive tent held our 150 guests with room to spare. The staff at Blackstone Rivers Ranch were a joy to work with and we couldn't be happier with the results. I would gladly recommend Blackstone Rivers Ranch to anyone looking for wedding in nature.

Blackstone was the absolute best! 10/10! Could not have asked for anything better honestly! They were always there to help throughout the whole wedding process and the day itself was so beautiful and amazing! We look back and couldnt imagine getting married anywhere else!

Blackstone Rivers Ranch is an absolute dream! My husband and I looked at 10 venues in the Denver/front range area and absolutely fell in love with BRR as soon as we stepped foot on the property to tour it - nothing else could compare. The stream, the bistro lights, the trees and flowers, having so much space and being the only event there the day - pure perfection! There are so many places for stunning photographs and we CANNOT wait to see what our photographer captured. The entire BRR team is so friendly, professional, helpful and responsive. It's very clear that they excel in what they do and take great care of the property, especially considering how many events come through there! Small touches like having the benches dried off before the ceremony, maintaining the fire pit and turning on the heaters when the evening got chilly happened without us even noticing -- the small details make such a big difference! We had so many guests tell us it was the most beautiful wedding venue they've ever been to - we might be biased, but we couldn't agree more. We had the wedding of our dreams, thank you BRR and staff!

You can't go wrong with this venue. It is beautiful and the staff is great. They are responsive, prices are fair, and they were totally on top of things when we had rain prior to the ceremony. Wish I could do it all over again!

Blackstone is incredible. We received so much feedback from our guests on how beautiful the space was and overall interacting with the staff was great. They are helpful, responsive, and willing to be flexible with any request. You don't even need to have a ton of decorations/florals because it is already beautiful.

Great Wedding Experience in the Mountains.
Starting the planning process in the midst of COVID was rough, but Blackstone Rivers Ranch had the perfect petite package that we were looking for - helping us and our guests have peace of mind with the unknown future. Working with their in-house planning team, Blackstone Rivers Ranch was everything we were hoping it would be and more. The space was beautiful and we felt as if we were more remote in the mountains than we actually were. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a mountain wedding without having guests trek deep into the range.

This was the most magical venue and the staff was amazing! Who know it would snow 20 inches in May?! We still had our ceremony outside, and then moved into the nice warm tent. It was a beautiful day. The staff was there to constantly keep the snow off the side walks till 11pm. They made our special day even better! Thank you

Blackstone Rivers Ranch is an amazing wedding venue! We had a petite (40 people) wedding at the end of April. It was the perfect venue to be able to have ceremony and reception in one beautiful location. They make it so easy with the pricing that includes everything you need and the ability to add on some additional features. We chose to add the use of the fire pit for a s’mores send off at the end of the evening. It was definitely worth it to add the beautiful bridal dressing room and groom’s dressing room. The staff is responsive during the process and were attentive the day of. The scenery around the property is beautiful for the wedding photos. We got many comments from our wedding guests saying how amazing everything was. It was so great having a mountain wedding about an hour from Denver! Would definitely recommend Blackstone Rivers Ranch.

Blackstone Rivers Ranch was the perfect venue for our much delayed wedding celebration! The property is incredible and it truly is the perfect mountain get away that is still accessible from downtown Denver. Nadine and Cheryl were always very prompt and professional throughout the planning process. The day of our wedding could not have been better, even with the afternoon thunderstorms. We were definitely a bit concerned, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests stayed warm and dry. The staff on site were so attentive and took such great care of us. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day and would definitely recommend Blackstone to future couples!!

Blackstone is one of the most beautiful venues I have been to, and the only one I would pick again to get married at! The communication was very open, and any questions that we had they were quick to answer. We had every guest saying 'this is the best wedding we have ever been to,' which is exactly what we wanted! The moment we discovered Blackstone Rivers Ranch, we knew that it had all of the elements we had dreamed of for our wedding day. It felt unique, intimate and like a mountain getaway for my California family. They worked with us on every single detail and went above and beyond to make sure that our day ran smoothly. We even got to attend a wine tasting event to pick our wines! Our guests kept coming up to tell us how nice all of the staff were. It happened to be a pretty rainy day, and they were flexible and helped keep us and our guests so happy! The property is stunning—my favorite part was the string lights that run the entire length. We were able to stay in the cabin right up the hill, and loved being able to stay so close to our event. Thank you for EVERYTHING!!

I just had my wedding at BRR this past July. To say it was magical would be an understatement. The venue itself is stunning and picturesque for a mountain wedding. My favorite parts were that it was all outdoor, but inclusive for everyone to be close together. I did the petite wedding package and it was perfect for us. Cheryl Ann is absolutely amazing and will make everything so simple and easy, especially the day of the wedding. She was so attentive, kind, helpful, creative, and honestly made my wedding look so beautiful and run so smoothly - even with the slight rainstorm we had :) Nadine was so helpful in planning and making sure we had everything we needed :) Overall this wedding venue and staff is wonderful and will make your day the best day you can imagine. If I could do it all over again, I would.

What a DREAM location! We had our wedding here after two years of waiting because of COVID and I don't know how it is possible, but they made it so worth the wait! Our day was flawless, the venue is beyond gorgeous morning into the night and the staff is incredibly gracious/ accommodating. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants their guests to feel an experience in the mountains. We loved Blackstone so so much and feel beyond grateful they helped us make a day we will never forget!

From a wedding photographer's perspective - this venue has so much to offered. The interior is great for getting ready so couples don't have to have two locations day of. The exterior has a river running right through the property creating a peaceful ambiance for ceremonies and receptions. Their big tent is great for summer weddings to be outside but still have shelter. This venue is nestled down in the trees so it makes for beautiful forested portraits.

Blackstone Rivers Ranch is perfection! We looked at a ton of beautiful venues but once we saw BRR we couldn’t imagine our wedding anywhere else. Nadine and Cheryl are fantastic to work with. They are both so responsive and helpful. They really know what they’re doing and everything ran so smoothly the day of. We had our wedding at the end of August and it was an out of state wedding for everyone except us. If a lot of your guests are traveling from out of state I HIGHLY recommend BRR. We had a hotel block in Denver so everyone got to experience the city for one night, and then it’s a quick 40 min shuttle ride to the venue. So many guests commented on how it was the coolest wedding venue they’ve ever been to. BRR also provides a list of preferred vendors which helped us narrow down our search as well as give us peace of mind that these vendors have been vetted, have worked at BRR many times, and know what they are doing. The staff at BRR are all so polite and professional. Seriously cannot imagine my wedding anywhere else! THANK YOU BRR!

INCREDIBLE is the understatement of the year. This venue was absolutely amazing. Cheryl and Nadine were immensely helpful in my planning as I was an out-of-state bride. They were so prompt with responses as well! The day of the wedding I had the opportunity to meet more of their staff (bartenders, security, etc.) and all were fabulous, kind, and professional. On multiple occasions staff came up to my husband and I to ensure we were happy and our drinks were full. The Blackstone staff go above and beyond! The venue itself is beyond words. It's where elegance meets nature. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to say "I do!" There are so many cool pockets in this space for you and your group to take photos at as well. The restrooms, grooms suite, and bridal suite are comfortable and so well decorated. Guests loved the ceremony space and all felt like they had a great view. Blackstone Rivers Ranch is reliable, convenient, and unforgettable. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

Blackstone Rivers Ranch was the perfect venue to celebrate our marriage. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The sound of the creek in the background is truly magical and the big white tent is spectacular. The bridal suites are elegent which makes for beautiful getting ready pictures. At night the string lights help illuminate the tent and the grounds and bring the outdoors to life. The team at Blackstone is also top notch. They are responsive and always available to answer any questions. Their experience with the vendors makes working with their team so easy. All of our guests could not stop raving about how it was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen. Blackstone Rivers Ranch will always be so special to us!

Our experience at Blackstone Rivers Ranch was outstanding! There's plenty of parking for your guests, lots of room to spread out and enjoy cocktails in one area, have the ceremony in another, and the reception under a giant gorgeous tent! The bridal and groom suites were exceptionally well decorated and made for some awesome photo opportunities. Cheryl and Nadine were most helpful throughout the entire process, they made everything easy and fun! We had originally narrowed it down to the three different locations and given the chance again there's no way we'd go anywhere else. We've received so many compliments about how stunning this venue is, because it is!! Truly exceptional space to host the biggest day of your life!

Blackstone is like no other venue I’ve ever seen or been to it is absolutely stunning and so peaceful and serine! My husband and I like many others had to deal with rescheduling because of Covid and not only was Blackstone accommodating and understanding they were so kind to offer us multiple dates to reschedule and always on top of everything!! Not only is the staff amazing but the venue itself is so gorgeous we didn’t want the night to end! Our biggest regret was not booking it for longer or staying in one of the cabins the night of our wedding! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Blackstone Rivers Ranch it is simply incredible and such a special place! My husband and I already talking about going back for a vow renewal some day!

It is away from all of the hustle and bustle of Denver but our guests never felt inconvenienced by the lack of choices on where to stay close by - there are so many options! My husband and I got married here on Sunday and did the petite wedding and literally could not have picked a better location! The entire day was laid out for us and everything went so smoothly. The suites were such a gorgeous place for everyone to get ready and then the outdoor location backed by the pine trees made for gorgeous photos. The staff were all incredibly helpful, the food was incredible, the officiant made our ceremony so personal and special. And then to top it all off, we got to stay a night in the claim jumper cabin which was the cutest way to end our wedding weekend. If you're looking for a place to get married in Colorado this is it!

I had my wedding here and it was a dream come true. The venue is absolutely gorgeous photos do it no justice to just how stunning it is. And on top of that the staff is amazing and on top of everything just super kind and professional they made sure the day of was 100% coordinated and perfect. If you have your wedding here you won't regret it.

BRR exceeded my wedding expectations! I was blown away at how well maintained and beautiful the venue was for the day of the wedding. The tent is gorgeous when it gets dark and the whole venue is decorated beautifully with string lights. The creek behind the ceremony site created a perfect ambiance and there was plenty of space for activities like yard games and s'mores which we loved. Cheryl and Nadine were very kind and responsive with any questions I had and took planning very seriously which was appreciated. They are strict about vendors but in the end it makes wedding planning easier and is nice they have vetted everyone to ensure quality!

What a Venue!!! If you are looking for a mountain wedding venue close to Denver, look no further!! My destination wedding there was an absolute dream and my guests were awe-struck by the beauty of the entire property. We have gotten countless "This was the best wedding I have ever been to" comments. Also, their recommended vendors are TOP NOTCH and most of them know each other and have all worked together at Blackstone before, so literally everything went seamless! 10/10 recommend having your wedding or event at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. There is no way you will regret it!! I haven't gotten my professional photos back yet, but the attached are from my guests and vendors! Pro Tip WHEN you choose Blackstone Rivers Ranch: We had all of our wedding party and guests stay at the Ameristar Blackhawk Casino (25 min away from the venue) and it was incredible because the bar is open all night long and all the drinks were $4. So the casino after party (after both the rehearsal dinner at Tommy Knockers AND the wedding) were an absolute HIT. It's expensive to stay there but their prices dropped substantially the week before my wedding and most of our guests were able to cancel their rooms and re-book at the cheaper price. Also, Blackstone will make you use one of their required vendors for a planner and caterer, I HIGHLY suggest MAG events and Mountain Crust Catering (unlimited pizza buffet truck). My guests are still talking about the pizza and again "how it was the best wedding they had ever been to."

We fell in love with Blackstone before we even toured having seen it on Instagram. Seeing it in person blew us away. It is the perfect location to have that magical outdoor Colorado ceremony. In late September, the leaves are changing while the flowers are still in bloom giving the venue an effortless beauty that did not require a ton of decor. The tent was a great place to have a reception keeping everyone warm into the evening while still letting you feel the crisp mountain air. The venue staff are incredibly generous and easy to work with answering all of our questions and being transparent about pricing. Our wedding went exactly as we pictured it when we fell in love with it in the first place. We also have had multiple guests and others reach out to us raving and asking about our amazing venue. Highly recommend setting this as the backdrop for your big day.

My husband and I LOVED everything about our Blackstone Wedding! It was the perfect outdoor venue with beautiful trees, a lovely lit tent, and- the selling point for us- a creek running through it! When we toured the venue in the snowy months of winter, we thought it was gorgeous, but it was even greater than we could have hoped by the time our July wedding rolled around! All of our guests (especially the ones from out of town) RAVED about the location. The Blackstone staff is caring, responsive, and helped us create the wedding of our dreams. They paid attention to details that I didn’t even know existed when planning a wedding! Perfect location for an outdoor wedding in the (not-to-far-from-the-city) mountains. Can't recommend it enough!

My husband and I were searching for an outdoor tented venue that could fit 200 guests. The moment we stepped foot at Blackstone Rivers Ranch, we were blown away by the beauty of the surroundings, the gorgeous tent, and rolling creek along the backside of the property. We fell in love immediately! Our wedding turned out beautifully. The staff was so easy to work with throughout the process. Very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend!!!.

Our daughter's wedding was here in early October 2023. What a beautiful venue! The staff was amazing and everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. We couldn't be happier with all of our choices, for food, flowers, to photography. It was a perfect choice for our daughter and her husband!

Blackstone Rivers Ranch was our dream venue! We live in Texas and ended up booking the venue without seeing it in person first and the photos, videos, and their Instagram portrays exactly what it is like in person! The staff there was so accommodating and willing to answer any and all questions across the 10 months while planning the wedding. The wedding day was absolutely incredible and everything was exactly how we imagined and more. There was plenty of space for all of our guests, we kept dry during the rain under the tent and had plenty of space to move around and dance with our guests. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough!

This venue is absolutely spectacular and can accommodate so many of your needs for your big day. Great backdrops and areas for pictures. From scheduling to the day of, the staff was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. Mountains, aspens, and creeks oh my! Blackstone Rivers Ranch is where you want to have your wedding. It is not only breathtaking, the staff are fabulous and a joy to work with. Even the facilities/suites are stellar. Our planning and booking process could not have gone smoother. The drinks were fantastic, and the fire pit was a big hit with all our guests. Staying in their Claim Jumper Cabin also meant we could just relax and crash at the end of the night on site, plus we were able to enjoy our morning coffee by the creek as newlyweds. Money well spent on the Wedding of our dreams.

This venue took ours and our guests breaths away! From the lights strung between the aspens to the fab suites, we were in love with our venue from start to finish. Blackstone Rivers Ranch was everything we wanted and more for our wedding. Every square foot of this place is picture perfect and so dreamy. Guests can roast marshmallows at the fire place while the stream babbles nearby while the wedding party can feel so pampered in the hidden suites. The team at Blackstone Rivers Ranch was quick to respond to the many questions we had and they kept the property very clean. Honestly I knew I wanted to get married at Blackstone before I was even engaged. It's extremely close to Denver, which makes it easy for guests to attend, while feeling like you're in a secluded mountain woodland dream. The creek that flows through the venue had giant trout living their best lives, the grove of Aspen trees were basically free decor for our autumn wedding. Our petite wedding was everything we wanted at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. The natural beauty of the venue paired with the kindest people made our day the best! They worked with us for all of our requests and we were so happy with how everything turned out but you honestly can’t beat that scenery. Thanks for our beautiful day

 Blackstone Rivers Ranch was the best venue we could have asked for!! It's the perfect mix of nature and elegance and our guests haven't stopped raving about the spot. The BRR staff was so attentive and helpful the entire process. Idaho Springs is a cute spot and our guests really enjoyed hanging out downtown as well! Best decision we made!!!

Our wedding was a destination and everyone was flying in from out of state so we wanted something closeish to Denver but also with that mountain feel and Blackstone was exactly that! From the trees and flowers to the incredible creek running through it, everything was so beautiful and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how great the venue was. All of the staff were very communicative leading up to the event and worked with us on all of our requests as well as being amazing the day of! We are so happy we chose to have our wedding here! We were looking to have a smaller, more intimate wedding and noticed they offered a "Petite Wedding Package" which perfectly met our needs. The site is breathtaking, with a beautiful layout! The staff was phenomenal, especially Cheryl who was our event coordinator and helped to make our day run smoothly. We were not expecting it to snow the day of our event, but they accommodated us last minute and moved our whole event around. All of our family, our friends. and our vendors agreed we could not have chosen a better place! Thank you all so much

We held our September '23 wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch and couldn't recommend it enough. Guests (90% of them from the Midwest) raved about how unique and stunning the venue was, including the various spaces between the ceremony area, cocktail hour space, and reception tent. While the location off I-70 was a concern for us (with traffic/construction), we had no issues transporting people from the hotel in Golden. It's not the cheapest of venues and there are quite a bit of upsells, but the quality is evident. The grounds of the venue were beautiful day-of (after only seeing it in late October and early May) and I was so impressed with the flowers and foliage, and the creek of course. The team was really easy to work with, and never added to the stress of planning a wedding. Hoping I get to attend as a guest one day :) Thanks, BRR team

Blackstone Rivers Ranch was incredible! It’s the perfect venue—the natural landscape is jaw-dropping, and the main building and tent are also stunning. Everyone I worked with was so kind, helpful, and responsive. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and all of our guests could not stop raving about Blackstone! Would highly recommend!

Couldn't be more pleased with our wedding reception. We didn't have our ceremony there, but we shuttled family and friends from a nearby church for a reception 10/17/20. It's a beautiful venue if you are looking for a mountain wedding vibe. Lots of photo opportunities for both the wedding party and guests. No walk up bar service (covid). Although they had plenty of staff to take care of our guests. If you needed a beverage, you got one. We had a great Cocktail Hour by the creek which gave our guests several options to sit, drink, eat and socially mingle at a distance. We had about 100 guests and BRR was both honorable of our wishes while being responsible of County guidelines. We were also catered by Mountain Crust and it was spectacular! INCREDIBLE is the understatement of the year. This venue was absolutely amazing. Cheryl and Nadine were immensely helpful in my planning as I was an out-of-state bride. They were so prompt with responses as well! The day of the wedding I had the opportunity to meet more of their staff (bartenders, security, etc.) and all were fabulous, kind, and professional. On multiple occasions staff came up to my husband and I to ensure we were happy and our drinks were full. The Blackstone staff go above and beyond! The venue itself is beyond words. It's where elegance meets nature. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to say "I do!" There are so many cool pockets in this space for you and your group to take photos at as well. The restrooms, grooms suite, and bridal suite are comfortable and so well decorated. Guests loved the ceremony space and all felt like they had a great view. ​Blackstone Rivers Ranch is reliable, convenient, and unforgettable. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

​This venue is absolutely spectacular and can accommodate so many of your needs for your big day. Great backdrops and areas for pictures. From scheduling to the day of, the staff was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend having your wedding here as it is a place that you will remember forever.

Cheryl Anne was our event manager for our wedding back in September 2019 at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. We wanted to let everyone here know how awesome it was working with her. Cheryl is calm, collected and elegant. She radiates know-how when it comes to organizing and executing a perfect wedding day. And that's just what our special day was - perfect. It could not have been so without her and the other employees at Blackstone. So many attending our wedding told us that it was the most beautiful and spiritually-charged wedding they'd ever experienced. So, we are grateful to Cheryl and the venue! We had our wedding at BRR about a month ago and it was perfect! It was the most beautiful place to invite all of our out of town friends and family for our wedding, and our guests could not stop commenting on how great it was. I love the table and chairs they provided and that they have the option to rent place settings and glassware, that was so convenient. We booked about a year in advance and Cheryl and Nadine always responded quickly and were such a great help throughout the whole process. This was the best decision we made for our big day and we will always cherish this place.

My husband and I fell in love with this venue from the moment we saw it online miles away! It's everything you'd want for a wedding... big property making for a fun welcome, beautiful ceremony, and cocktail hour and reception all in once place. The people were so kind and easy to work with. It poured rain on our wedding day, but it didn't matter. Between our planner, florist, and property manager, they had everything shift inside the tent and it made for an even more intimate and romantic wedding ceremony. People said it was the best wedding they had been to. Highly recommend booking this venue for your wedding!

The most BEAUTIFUL outdoor wedding venue!!

By far the most BEAUTIFUL venue, we couldn’t have asked for a more stunning, intimate setting. Especially during covid precautions, the outdoor ceremony, beach area, and reception tent was absolutely perfect! Our guests all traveled from out of state to be here for our special day, we had endless compliments on how amazing our wedding was, the scenic views, the weather, the staff, and overwell expressing their amazement at our wedding and how it was the best they’ve ever been to. Nadine, Cheryl-Anne and the whole team were so accommodating and always responsive over communication needs. Blackstone Rivers Ranch is the only venue we looked at, and immediately knew it was the one for us. It is absolutely beautiful, magical, and just has such a lovely vibe. We received so many compliments on everything about the venue, and I still love looking at photos We took! I'll admit that at first I thought it was odd that they provide a list of required and preferred vendors to use with their location, but I realized that helped me narrow down our options. I'm an indecisive person, so having fewer options to choose from helped me! The staff was so helpful, kind, and responsive, and made planning everything so much easier. I can't imagine having our special day anywhere else. Thank you guys

When thinking of our wedding last night in "Claim Jumper Cabin", the words that come to mind are; magical, elegant, chic, well appointed, and sensational. As a man who has a tight hold on his checkbook...I have to say that no greater value in life or leisure has ever been afforded to me than the Blackstone Rivers Ranch wedding venue. We loved every second of our time on property, and appreciate all the wonderful people who made our stay magical! ~~ Update 2 weeks later ~~ Both of our families have spent the last two weeks gushing about how incredible they felt the wedding and venue were...we couldn't be more thankful that we booked Blackstone Rivers Ranch to celebrate our love and bring our families closer together!

We attended a wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful. The venue was unique with a couple different ceremony sites. The wedding we attended was a short walk up a hill next to a creek. The ceremony site was built with the creek running through it. In my opinion, it brought life to the ceremony because we were watching this couple form a new life breathing in fresh mountain air. The reception was in a large tent with space to play cornhole, dance, eat and celebrate. I want to get married again to use this venue!
