MICHAEL & DEBRAH’S INTIMATE UNREFINED MOUNTAIN WEDDING

Updated: Feb 13, 2020

Debrah and Michael have the sweet love we all dream about. Overjoyed and giddy, this beautiful couple arrived at Blackstone Rivers Ranch and were ready to start their marriage celebration. The venue grounds were decorated with sunflowers at every turn. The most tenderly woven decoration was the string of flowers hanging from a thin, three-foot-long tree branch at the ceremony site. This was a beautiful backdrop for the bride and groom as the bright yellow and coral hues from the flowers matched their vibrant personalities.

Debrah wore a strapless, chic dress that fit her figure perfectly and Michael was dressed to the 10’s in a navy blue suit with a dapper, red bowtie. Effortless beauty. What made this wedding an intimate one was the decision of Michael and Debrah to have their guests bring pie as the wedding dessert! Pecan, Apple, Blueberry, and Pumpkin pies sat beautifully on the reclaimed wood tables that Blackstone provides, adding to this couples unrefined theme. Gifts were placed near one of the entrances of the tent, on the stone table that the owners of the Ranch placed near Chicago Creek. Lawn games abounded on this sunny day. One could find Giant Jenga, Cornhole, and Ladderball in the grassy area next to the reception tent. This wedding felt familial; like you could join the party and no one would mind at all! We love couples who are genuinely sweet and Debrah and Michael, you showed us great kindness. Your joy and love was contagious. Congratulations on your wedding!
