There’s nothing quite like October in the mountains.
We are so glad that Anne and Matt decided to get married at Blackstone Rivers Ranch in October. It’s always an exciting time of year with the crisp air wafting through the canyon and the aspen trees glowing with yellow leaves.
But we know it can get a bit chilly up here. There are so many great ways to provide your guests with something warm and Anne and Matt did just that. They set out blankets all over our ceremony site with a lovely sign nearby that read, “Not a chill to the winter but a nip to the air. Feel free to use the blankets to keep warm but be sure to return them as they will be donated to a shelter.” We love the idea of having the blankets set out for guests to be later donated to those in need.
This group took full advantage of those blankets. They were quite a large group with just over 200 guests. We weren’t at our capacity though, as our venue can host as many 250 guests.
Beyond the cold air, the color palette of this wedding did a great job of tying into fall. In some of the detail shots you can see how the tables were set with burgundy napkins and black flatware. The long, black tapper candles made quite a statement against the burgundy themed flower arrangements done by Lace & Lilies.
These pictures are stunning. Thank you, Emily Elizabeth Photo, for sharing them with us. Thank you to Anne and Matt for sharing your glorious day with us. We loved hosting this fabulous party for you to celebrate your love!
