Susan and Ken felt like family from the moment they booked Blackstone Rivers Ranch for their Colorado mountain wedding venue – never mind the fact that they were stuck at the Ranch for a few hours during a snow storm in the dead of winter!

There is something about a guest list of 65 guests or fewer that makes a wedding feel sublimely intimate and familial. Susan and Ken’s wedding felt like everyone was at home – and that’s exactly what we hope for at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. We want guests to feel comfortable and have a truly amazing experience!
The musician for the evening was a friend of the bride. Pianist, Kat Paz’s lovely piano music could be heard in nearly every corner of the ranch. With Heidi Larson, of As You Wish Event Planning in charge, guests could peacefully mingle into the evening without a care! Elevated Catering made FABULOUS dishes of food and made sure to be hands-on, helping in any way they could. Various times throughout the night you could find Susan and Ken dancing silently and holding each other in awe of all the love around them.
Ken and Susan, you two are such beautiful people and we wish you a beautiful marriage in the years to come!
