The sun was out, the air was crisp, and everyone who gathered on the grounds of Blackstone Rivers Ranch was wearing nothing but happiness. “Autumn Soiree” and was put together by Occasions Catering out of Denver, Colorado and is a yearly festival to celebrate the joys of Fall.
It was about 11 o’clock and Blackstone Rivers Ranch began buzzing as guests arrived for this beautiful Autumn party. Pumpkins were sat out to create a Pumpkin Patch where families could pick out the best pumpkin to paint! A table was set up under the two large Pine Trees near the creek for children to paint their new finds. Delicious goodies were could be located everywhere you turned. Occasions’ staff painted wooden panels with different words referencing the activities that were taking place around them.
Not only was there Pumpkin Picking and Painting, but there were Festive Food Stations, Whiskey and Wine Tasting, Cornhole, Giant Jenga, and Cigar Rolling! There were activities for all ages!
One of the coolest features of this event was the way in which Occasions Catering displayed their food. A large wooden structure was arranged to have slates where you could pick up a bag of either “Root Vegetable Chips, “Pumpkin Seed Popcorn,” or “Autumn Trail Mix.” We loved how natural all the decorations felt. Occasions maximized on every inch of space that Blackstone has. We loved bringing in the beautiful Fall season with this FUN group of individuals!
